YELLOW WARE SAND BANDED SUGAR BOWL

Description

Yellow ware sand banded sugar bowl with lid. It is about 5" tall and is 4 5/8" diameter at the top. The base diameter is 3". There is a 1 5/8" wide band of sanded decoration around the bowl. The lid also has a sand band about 1 5/8" wide.
There is only a minimal bit of wear around the inside of the rim of the bowl and a small amount of discoloration. The light discoloration could probably be easily removed. There has been some restoration done to the lid. I have tried to capture this in the last 3 photos. Only one area that is visible on the top side of the lid. The rest of the repair appears to have been done to the inside neck of the lid.
This is a great, hard to find piece to add to any yellow ware collection.
