Description

The Rotostar Set is Suhner’s most powerful portable flex shaft set.  The set includes a 2 hp Rotostar motor, an NA 10X2000 flexible shaft, an FH 10 straight toolholder w/ ¼” collet and a metal carrying case (additional extra cost accessories shown in picture).  The FH 10 straight toolholder allows you to run carbide burrs, mounted points, flap wheels and wire brushes on a ¼” arbor.  Additional handpieces and toolholders are available separately.  The Rotostar has all the power of most of Suhner’s large stationary machines in a portable 110 volt package and without all the weight and special wiring required to run the big three phase induction motors.  Common applications include heavy duty grinding and polishing.  The motor can be positioned anywhere convenient to your work area, including on your bench, on the floor and even suspended from the ceiling.  The FH 10 toolholder and NA 10 flexible shaft are suitable to run buffing wheels and abrasives up to 3” in diameter.  To run larger diameter abrasives and buffs, consider the Heavy Duty Rotostar Set (p/n 11014302).
