advertising legendary Santana at the Ernst-Merck-Halle in Hamburg [Germany] on Friday, 10th December, 1976, in support of the
Festivál
album, and with Journey as special guests. Like its predecessor,
Amigos
,
Festivál
was also produced by David Rubinson, and although it went gold, the lack of a hit single hurt the album’s commercial standing, peaking at #27 on the
Billboard
200, the lowest yet for a Santana album. By this time Carlos Santana was the only remaining member of the original line-up.
The poster measures 61.0 x 83.7 cm (approx. 24 by 33 inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, matte-coated paper stock. There is a very faint horizontal fold to the middle and a small rip to the lower left side border.
The poster measures 59.2 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.3 by 33 inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. The poster has been neatly folded, else in near excellent condition.
