    Description

    This saw with its support roller stands have been disassembled for easier transporting. You do not need a trailer to pick this item up. A full size pickup truck with a full bed is all that is needed.
    If you purchase this radial arm saw, you'll have the finest 16" radial arm saw setup that you can get your hands on. When it's time to quickly, and accurately cut some material, it takes more than just a sliding motor and a saw blade to do this operation safely, and efficiently. This saw has a large, smooth table with a high pressure laminate top, and a renewable cut strip. The channel that holds the cut strip is lined with steel on each side. On each side of the table is a 24" wide ball bearing roller stand to support even the heaviest of materials. This allows for drawing the material into cut position, with minimal effort. Bolted on top of the roller stands is a back fence which is in exact alignment with the opposing side. The back fence is made from a channel which allows for an adjustable cut stop (see photo). The adjustable cut stop is sitting on top of a ruler which allows an operator to quickly and accurately set a desired cut length. The motor carriage slides precisely in a channel under the the main arm. The bearings have felt wipers which keep dust, and debris from building up, which helps maintain an ultra smooth cut. The roller carriage has adjustable set screws which can allow for removing any excess play which may accumulate over time. De-Walt did not spare any expense in allowing adjust ability for every aspect of blade alignment. If you need a saw which can handle large cross sections, and do it accurately, and quickly, this is your machine. If you prefer to spend your time making quality product, rather than messing around with sloppy cuts, and inefficient setups, then this your machine.
